Missions
Lori Stamey WMU : Our next meeting will be December 2nd. Join us as we pray for missionaries and minister to local charities.
The people at Crestview Baptist Church are very passionate about Missions, both here in our own country, as well as abroad.
Our congregation has partnered with the Co-Laborers Team in Moscow, Russia to adopt the Golovinksi Region of Northern Moscow. Through this partnership, Crestview has pledged to send mission teams to help the believers in Golovinksi spread the love of Christ to everyone in their region. As a result of work completed by one of these teams in April of 2005, approximately 70 people are meeting in home bible studies each week in hopes of forming a church in the very near future.
Since the dreadful hurricane season of 2005 ravaged the Gulf Coast region of the United States, Crestview has worked hand-in-hand with Samartian’s Purse and sent two teams to the Kiln, Mississippi region. The first team in October of 2005 helped “mud out” destroyed houses and a second team in April of 2006 began to help rebuild homes and live in that same area.
Crestview has several ongoing mission projects as well. We have an always-open collection for the following organizations and their needs:
